During the master class, you can take part in making souvenirs from the Armenian pink stone called tuff. You will be able to take the handmade souvenir with you. The activity would also entertain children as they will see the mosaics of the cartoon characters made of tuff on the wall of the guest house. In the yard, children can take part in a master class on making a "puzzle" of Mount Ararat with tuff.
As soon as you arrive at the Stone Art Guesthouse, you will be greeted by Hovhannes and Volodya, these two guests will be responsible for your good entertainment. The initiative of Hovhannes and Volodya was significant for the whole region. Many sculptures of Volodya are exhibited in Pemzashen Park, and the Stone Art Guesthouse allows visitors of all ages to enjoy the stone heritage of the village. When John founded the Stone Art Guesthouse and gradually decorated his garden, it eventually began to merge with Volodya's outdoor sculpture studio.
They both decided to turn their homes into a place where they could display the stone heritage of Pemzashen through art. The initiative aims not only to show the diversity of stones but also to convey the values of Armenian culture and local identity through them. While staying at Stone Art Guest House & Camping, you can also enjoy the sight-seeing and adventure tours, cultural and religious heritage site-seeing tours as well as go down the mountain slopes.
After the master class, you can take the finished product with you.
